7 Ways to Better Self-Care at Home

As imperfect human with flaws, we’re all prone to world-weariness, anxiety, and depression from time to time. It can be hard to motivate yourself to get out of bed on such days – much less do housekeeping chores like laundry. But believe us when we say that keeping a clean home is keeping a clean mind. Start small, and work your way up. You’ll feel better for it, we promise!

Make your bed
If your sheets need changing, change them and put them in for a wash. Toss up your quilt and lay it flat. Fluff up your pillows. Spend no more than fifteen minutes on the task. It’s okay if it’s imperfect – you can get back to it later.
