Do as the Romans do

During the time of the ancient Romans around 1000 B.C to 470 A.D, beds were rather ornate, these Etruscan beds were very similar to the garden furniture we have today. The frame would be made of wood, usually with tall slender legs that are intricately carved. The mattress itself is stuffed with either feathers or wool and were definitely used only by the wealthy within the Roman society.
