Spend those few otherwise wasted minutes to clean out the fridge. Throw out ingredients that have gone bad and organise leftovers so they don’t take up too much space.
Organise misaligned cushions, straighten your coffee table and throw away small piece of trash that might have gotten in between the cushions. Do a quick declutter of your side table too.
Gather up whatever dirty clothes that’s been left neglected since the start of Chinese New Year and throw them into the laundry basket. If you have time to spare, ‘quick wash’ them if your washer has the feature so you can toss them in the dryer once you’re done showering.
Toss any clothing article that is worn out or has fallen out of favour with you so you can pack them up for donations later. Don’t forget to hang up your newly bought ones so you can start enjoying them post Chinese New Year.
Empty out your trash cans and bring the bags of garbage out with you. Be sure to separate the waste from the recyclables beforehand to make it less of a chore.
