5 Iconic landmarks by I.M. Pei.

Just recently, one of world's beloved architect, I.M. Pei left behind an architectural legacy. Here are some of his most notable works which remains timeless and iconic to this day:

1. Glass pyramid of the Louvre Museum, France.

The Louvre Museum was able to expand its collection and have more exhibition space thanks to the renovation done by I.M. Pei. In 1983, Ieoh Ming Pei wasn't only commissioned to design a new underground lobby, but, was also tasked to design a grand entrance for the museum. The iconic 70-feet tall glass and steel pyramid is able to accommodate the growing number of visitors. Today, it remains standing, complementing the traditional architecture of the Louvre museum.
