Old wicker baskets.

While they’re durable, wicker baskets can get brittle from wear. Before fixing the damages, you might want to brush and wash off the dust and dirt stuck in between the gaps of your wicker basket. As a temporary fix to damaged fibres, you can use fabric liners to have them covered up. However, you need a permanent solution for the holes in your wicker baskets. Cut and replace the damaged weavers with strips of reed, depending on the original material used in your wicker basket. If you can’t get one of the similar shade, you might want to dye the strips in fun vibrant colours, otherwise have the wicker basket stained in coffee or tea. You can also replace broken handles with woven rope or leather belts.
