Trim wardrobe tips

Are you constantly beleaguered by an ever-burgeoning wardrobe? It can be tempting to fill up with the fashionable, trendy styles of today, but your wardrobe (and wallet) won’t thank you for it! Here’s how to keep your wardrobe trim.

Have some basics to rotate – Separates are a great way to strut your stuff if you want to keep things new and fresh. Rotate around your tops and bottoms, and add jackets and accessories as necessary!

Organise, organise, organise – If you have one wardrobe and only that much space to spare, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get with the program. Roll up your socks and fold your shirts and pants up properly. Put away your outerwear if you won’t need them throughout the year.

Make a point of donating unworn items – If you find yourself the proud (or confused) owner of garments you haven’t worn in ages, it’s definitely time to bundle them up and donate them!

Double hang – If you have far too many things that need hanging, consider setting up a double height hanging wardrobe, with a railing on top, and one on the bottom. These are good for short tops, pants, skirts, and jackets.
