Co-founder and director of Alphabet Press, Cliff Leong, spoke to us about ana tomy’s future and their studio’s recent move to Jalan Rotan.

H&D: What inspired ana tomy’s move to Jalan Rotan, Kampung Attap?

C: Accessibility was the main reason behind our move from Petaling Jaya to Jalan Rotan. Situated between Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya, our studio is easily accessible by both locals and tourists alike.

H&D: What’s the story behind the shoplot you’re currently occupying?

C: It was an art gallery called Our ArtProjects. It was an open space to house various artists’ works curated by Liza, the landlord of The Zhongshan Building. The building once housed the Selangor Zhongshan Association, and is now becoming an exciting art hub.
